Hello Sam, So I tried to use 2008 as server type, but no success problem still exist. any suggestions? I am not expert with Blondie MySQL, but I can get around. do you mind sharing your steps you took to upgrade? are you running 4.4.1 or 4.4? Thanks Sam, I had similar issue, I have no problem deploying Windows 2008 servers, only Server 2012 had trouble. ACS 4.4.1 is not officially release yet, so I was hopping you had the steps to upgrade from ACS 4.4. I would really like to upgrade as soon as possible because I am pressure into use this current cluster to install essential machines for my company. steps are different for each cloudstack version, for example upgrading from 4.3 would be slightly different then 4.2 or 4.1 and also upgrading is different for each hypervisor type and also depends on your setup. Sam, first I have random success trying to create templates using Windows 2012 R2. I had use "OS Type" as Windows 2012 R2, Windows PV and even Other but unable to create templates. I was able to setup a testing cluster of ACS 4.4.1 which seem to be running smoother than ACS 4.4, one only difference is the NFS storage as the production cluster running iscsi. do you mind pointing to steps you taken to upgrade ACS 4.4 ? I recently upgraded to 4.4.1 and overall upgrade is easy but I dont think you can upgrade it with such a simple command since it involves intalling (preseeding) sys template and manually changing settings from mysql tables to reflect this change.
