AW: [SOGo] Problem: Proxy error when try to do mail forwarding
Hi there, nobody else out there with this Problem? Our users still complaining about intermittent Proxy Error or Bad Gateway problems while using SOGo. It seems that its occurred only from time to time. Re: [SOGo] Again: Migration from old to new SOGo server
Am 20.08.2015 um 13:48 schrieb Ludovic Marcotte: If you're moving entirely to a new server - I would suggest to backup/restore the SQL database itself. If you need to, you can adjust the location values from the sogo_folder_info. Using sogo-tool backup/restore will modify the c_lastmodified for all entries, which means the collection tag will change for every single addressbook and calendar. That means the CUA will usually force a full refresh of each collection. For 4,000 users, that might put some stress on your server. Hi Ludovic, ok, I'll try it with sql backup and restore. Regarding modification of the location tables in sogo_folder_info: Do you mean to change the servername in the values? So there ist 127.0.0.1 in my sogo.conf and the postgresql db is still on local machine, i asume there is nothing to modify. Isn't it? For example: postgresql://user:password@127.0.0.1:5432/sogo/sogohraithel0011d7a000d - nothing to change, from my point of view. Regarding stress on my server, we have vacation time at moment, and all our systems are bored... ...but on 1st of October, semester startup, i'm sure all red lights will raise - as usual. ;-) Thanks and regards Hartmut PS: Sorry about the dupe post at users@sogo.nu but it seems the list-server or something else was stumbeling a little bit and has delayed my messages... -- Hartmut Raithel IT-Systeme/Organisation / IT-Systems/Organization Infrastruktur Dienste / Infrastructure Services Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hof University of Applied Sciences Alfons-Goppel-Platz 1 95028 Hof / Saale Germany Phone +49 9281 409-3634 Fax +49 9281 409-553634 hartmut.rait...@hof-university.de www.hof-university.de -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Again: Migration from old to new SOGo server
Hi there, because of SOGo 2.3.x is no longer supported in Ubuntu 14.04 x86, I have done a fresh Sogo 2.3.1 installation from scratch on Ubuntu 14.04 x64 which is running well, in general. Next step is to move the userdata to the new box. I’ve planned to do the migration as follows: Doing a final backup on the old Machnine: su – sogo /usr/sbin/sogo-tool backup ALL /mnt/sdb1/sogobackup/final Copying the “final” folder to the new box… For the restore part, I’m not shure how to proceed. Any clue how to do a restore of all users (roundabout 4000 Users) in a gently way? So it seems that there exists no special option with sogo-tool to do a complete restore of all data from all users in the backup directory (sic?), I have planned to run the following steps/script as user sogo to succeed: For user in $(ls /mnt/sdb1/sogobackup/final); do /usr/sbin/sogo-tool restore -f ALL /mnt/sdb1/sogobackup/final $user; /usr/sbin/sogo-tool restore -p /mnt/sdb1/sogobackup/final $user; done Is this the right way to get all users migrated to the new Box, or am I missing a step or something else? (we have no need on openchange or samba things yet) Any smoother way to get all the data and preferences to the new server? Thanks a lot in advance for your help or suggestions! Re: [SOGo] Problem with evaluation of mailto-link in Email
Hello Jean, thanks a lot for the quick response. I will open a feature request for this. Meanwhile I will try to implement a workarround (Maybe enabling the end user web interface of the mailgate, it's not really charming, but it should do the job ;-}) Best regards, Hartmut Am 15.01.2013 15:12, schrieb Jean Raby: On 13-01-15 6:16 AM, Hartmut Raithel wrote: Hello, Hi, our antispam mail gateway is sending digest mail to the end users every day, there the users can select „false-positive“ messages for releasing from quarantine by mail. [SOGo] Column problem in E-Mail overview
Hi all, last Friday, i have done the update from SOGo 1.3.18 to 2.0. (Repo: deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu lucid main) Since then, I'm facing problems in e-mail view. The columns in the mail overview table seems misaligned under some conditions. For example, with Firefox 15.0.1 the view looks well, with IE9 (9.0.10)on the same machine, the overview table seems damaged. Please see screenshot with right and wrong behaviour: http://www.hof-university.de/fileadmin/Rechenzentrum/sogo20_column_problem.j pg The problem occurs mostly (but not only) with IE. Some Firefox users (10.0.7 ESR) seems also have similar problems. Sogo.log shows no abnormality while accessing the webgui: 127.0.0.1 - - [09/Oct/2012:11:19:02 GMT] POST /SOGo/so/aaasys08/Mail/0/mailboxes HTTP/1.1 200 622/0 0.337 - - 0 127.0.0.1 - - [09/Oct/2012:11:19:02 GMT] POST /SOGo/so/aaasys08/Mail/foldersState HTTP/1.1 200 23/0 0.004 - - 0 127.0.0.1 - - [09/Oct/2012:11:19:02 GMT] POST /SOGo/so/aaasys08/Mail//0/folderINBOX/unseenCount HTTP/1.1 200 13/0 0.357 - - 0 127.0.0.1 - - [09/Oct/2012:11:19:03 GMT] POST /SOGo/so/aaasys08/Mail//0/folderINBOX/7/view?noframe=1 HTTP/1.1 200 782/0 0.426 2126 63% 0 Deletion of the browsers cache data was also unsuccessful. Any suggestios what's going wrong here? Don't hesitate to ask me, if more info's needed. Regards Hartmut -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Column problem in E-Mail overview
Hello Christian, many thanks for the hint. Found the mentioned git-commit: https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/commit/403822968867faf332c337688fdb89cc876151cf after patching the MailerUI.js the emailpage is running smoothly again. Solved: [SOGo] sogo-tool restore not working: segmentation fault
Hello Christian, Am Freitag, 15. Juni 2012 11:23 CEST, Christian Mack christian.m...@uni-konstanz.de schrieb: Hello Hartmut Raithel If you have the up to date sogo-tool, you should open a bug report at http://www.sogo.nu/bugs Kind regards, Christian Mack -- Christian Mack Gruppe Informationsdienste Rechenzentrum Universitt Konstanz As J.Echter has mentioned before, there is no separate sogo-tool package available in ubuntu repository. But because of your suggestions, i got it! I had installed the System with sogo ver. 1.3.14 and have updated it afterwards with apt-get upgrade. It seems there was some inconsitencies in the ubuntu 10.04 sogo packages. There are two sogo-tool binaries on the System yet, one in /usr/bin and one in /usr/sbin: sogo@sh-sogodev01:~/backup/2012-06-14_1455$ ls -l /usr/bin/sogo-tool /usr/sbin/sogo-tool -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 94132 2012-02-14 09:16 /usr/bin/sogo-tool* -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 95704 2012-06-07 19:32 /usr/sbin/sogo-tool* Unfortunately /usr/bin/sogo-tool, which is in path of the user sogo, was not properly up-to date. When using the /usr/sbin/sogo-tool binary, the restore is workin correctly. Maybe, in case of the authors of the ubuntu packages is reading this, they may take a look onto this missmatch, to avoid confusion of other users. ;-) Many thanks for your help!
