Hi Alessio,

Good question, i think that the only way is
* update thunderbird

how do you push Tb10ESR? Manually?

* disable old inverse addons

It's done automatically as far I've already seen it.

* lightning should update itself automatically

and the best for the end:

* install "manually" new sogo-integrator (required i think)
* auto-install integrator.

Howto get that, smoothly!

The users who updated(derived) from Tb3.1 to ... Tb10 are "safe" but
it's wired and unstable
cause it's works but with restriction [Calendar ok, mainly use, but no
button].
I was thinking for my Tb3.1+light+integrator migration's user that we
had to find a way

to provide a connector version fully compatible with Tb3.1 and Tb10esr.
This holy connector should able to push the information to Tb3.1 client
to get the right update of Tb10 (THE esr one!)

Maybe located on the sogo server, same place as the plugins folder?
i.e: https:webmail.mydomain.com/*plugins/* or  ../*Tb10esr/* (just to
allowed migration phase)

My others users (new users in TB10ESR) are, just, waiting for the moment!

Other question: is it possible to ask to the integrator or connector to
make Tb switch to Tb10 to Tb10ESR?

I search on canal keyword but Google doesn't help me (2010 posts or blogs)

Others informations to debate:
I personally run the following weird configuration:
same server sogo integrator 3.105 / SOGo server 3.1.9
my station: Ubuntu 11.10 Thunderbird 9.0 + SOGo Connector& Integrator
3.105 disabled since last dist-upgrade (last Nov 2011)
But worked fine : add/delete event both way from Tb and from WebUI.

What is OK? and What's wrong with this configuration.

Hi Georg,
Before using SOGo Connector I had lightning in Stand Alone.
I follow instruction to remove extension and backup and remove calendar
and contact before
began, a long time ago more than 1 year, with the 'basic' SOGo personal
calendar through the integrator.

Then, I made few test to add a google calendar and that's all.
And then the dist-upgrade.

[SOGo] Pb Install Win 64bit + Thunderbird 3.1.17/9.0 + SOGo integrator 3.105

2012-01-24 Thread Stéphane GAUDICHE

Hi there,
I change of computer from an old WinXP 32bit + Tb3.1.17+SOGo (Full
Lightning functionnal)

to an new computer: Win7 64bit + Thunderbird (32bit) + ...
I'm dealing with a problem of installation of the sogo integrator 3.105
/ SOGo server 3.1.9

Step 0, transferring DATA (full profile folder)
1st, install Tb9 (mistake but too late)
load profile manager to link profile to profile folder location
Installer tell about incompatible extension (i.e SOGo integrator ...) so,
2nd, i remove Tb9 to install Tb3.1.17 + integrator but [seems to be
really too late]

after add integrator extension, Tb doesn't ask me to restart automatically.

I look to the pref.js which present to 2 user_pref:

user_pref("extensions.lastAppVersion", "3.1.17");
user_pref("extensions.lastPlatformVersion", "9.0");

Server side no thing appear in apache log when i retry 2nd step.

Can anyone give me little help. I don't see what wrong?
I know Tb10 is coming soon.
Anyway, Documentation on installation bests pratices or "What NOT to do
list, to make it work fine?" are welcome!

My french isn't that good, but it means you try to insert a value which
exceeds the maximum length of the corresponding field of 255 characters.

You can fix it, by enlarging this field or by not inserting greater
values :-)

The SOGoDebugRequest is set to YES;
so now i'm reading the log file per day with glogg.
It there a specific tool to explore sogo logs?

maybe it include in the sogo webmin modules?

in the 50 to 75 lines, I notice : successful login ~ 3500 to
4500 lines per day

is it a good thing to measure the user load towards others installations?
Any records  are wellcome!

  + 1 public Address Book (empty, never understand howto use it)

  In Thunderbird with sogo-integrator, to cover all the 4 branches, we manually add a
  more-general address book {ou=People,dc=my-domain,dc=com}
  advanced settings:
  -don't return more than 100 results (of 5000 entries)
  -"étendue": [ ] one level, [X]sub-tree
  -search filter:(objectclass=*)
  -auth. method: simple

  In Thunderbird, auto-completion is enabled on this addition
  annuary.
  My problem is: that's slow
 and sometimes i need to doubled type on 1
  letter to let it appear in the "To:" address field.
It may be cause  of the number of possibility one
  the very-first letter.

  Howto make it faster, and less buggy?

  Configuration is through Tools > Preferences > Rédaction
  (3rd general Tab with the pencil) > Adressage (2nd Tab)
  All cases are ticked ( local address books, Serveur d'annuaire)
  Which is the first annuary took for search the result?
  The one it's select in the menu? the Local address book or
  personnal auto-saved address? external annuary?

  Is there best practices to configure address book modules with
  using sogo-connector?

  Please tell me How to give us more information to understand my
  problem.
  Maybe somebody else is concerned by those sort of problem?

Hi all,

I am not sure if this has been posted earlier and I could not find in
archive. However, I am having issue with my iphone. I can write from
Iphone and that displays into my sogo web interface calendar but
strange enough I could not see all the event on my Iphone. I checked
with all the option in my Iphone.

Iphone supports caldav so it should not be problem reading from sogo

Can anyone share the solution ?

Cheers,
A

On our calendars, CalDAV, we have the URL of:

try adding the "SOGo" part and retry.

My fault ! I forgot to mention "SOGo" for CalDAV.
https : // sogoserver . domainname . com : 443 / SOGo / dav / UserID
As Jeff mention, it should be by default:
https : // sogoserver . domainname . com : 8843 / SOGo / dav / UserID

But it was steal not working on iPhone 4 until i check the box in:
Settings / Mail, Contacts,Calendar / Calendar / Synchronize: switch FROM
"Events from last 2 weeks" TO "All events"
A specific setting i haven't care about before on iPhone 3 ... [Problem
SOLVED]
