Hi, Thank you for the downgrade method. It work for sure but how long? I guess we have to deal with the fact that EAS is not an option anymore. OpenChange is probably the best way to replace EAS. I think he is only saying that Outlook.com (or Office365) servers will stop allowing the desktop Outlook client to connect via EAS. I don't think he is saying that EAS support in the desktop Outlook client will be dropped. Although I can imagine that Microsoft might drop EAS support in desktop Outlook client once it's not needed for their own services. This is clearly a big deal for SOGo. I have not tried this recently and am away from my computer but I managed to get my ActiveSync profile working in Outlook 2016 by maintaining it via the control panel instead using the Outlook wizard. Officially manual configuration is not supported, but if autodiscover fails, you can still configure manually. The trick is to enter an email address with a bogus domain to make sure it fails. Hello, autodiscovery isn't a big thing, but as you mentioned required by Outlook 2016.
