I have read the article you linked, and believe the solution to your issue may 
be as follows:
1.  Install the Zoom app on your iOS device.
2.  Using the Zoom app on the iOS device, join your Zoom meeting.
3.  With Original Sound enabled, share the iOS device’s screen directly from 
the iOS device rather than as described in the article.

Indeed yes it is. To fix this problem, you have to address it to an email 
address and actually send it. Or go and delete it from another device. Luckily 
for me I'm able to delete them from my Mac.

Is this a Mail app bug?

Let’s say that I start an EMail, and decide to cancel it. Even though I 
double-tap on “Delete draft” the Draft still appears! Is this a bug in the Mail 
app in iOS14?

Thank you Richard I believe what you just told me is I don’t actually need to 
use that six digit code that it keeps asking for. Actually it does ask me if I 
want to use the code every time I have updated but I’ve always been able to not 
use it.

The way I had heard this earlier, was that it was a major update and I figured 
that they were pushing it and programming it so it was compulsory to use that 
code. I personally think it’s a little intrusive and I don’t like giving  any 
more information that I absolutely need to.

Like I said, I prefer not to use it as I am the only one who uses the phone. 
and so I appreciate your help in this very much have a great evening.

What I look for in a weather app is info that is as local as possible.  I live 
in an area where things like temp may vary significantly over short distances, 
especially during the summer.  For example, the daytime temp at my location may 
be as much as 30 degrees higher than that at the coast 20 miles away.  I like 
either Weather underground or Weather Bug because they source their data from 
local sources such as nearby schools or volunteer weather observers.

I’ve mentioned this in the past both on a blind list, and on Facebook audio 
description page.

I and others are experiencing exactly the same situation with different shows. 
For example I watched season one episode one two and three of Star Trek 
discovery with audio description I went to four and no more audio description. 
We watch other shows that still play the audio description the stand I never 
had audio description on it.

I have been discussing this with CBS all excess help for months. They told me 
they escalated my problem. First they tried to say it was an Apple problem all 
I knew it wasn’t audio description plays every place else that it should. I 
discussed it with Apple. Now every once in a while I get a message from CBS all 
excess help asking if I’m still having the problem I say yes, they say OK will 
be back with you.

I am not sure about this. I have read it is to allow apple to remove apps they 
want from your phone. Not sure it is true but I do know they updated my phone 
when I had it set not to do it automatically  So I will wait until others see 
if things disappear from their phones or things are added they did not want.

What I look for in a weather app is info that is as local as 
possible.  I live in an area where things like temp may vary 
significantly over short distances, especially during the summer.  For 
example, the daytime temp at my location may be as much as 30 degrees

underground or Weather Bug because they source their data from local

That could very well be the case.  The odd thing is that I had this situation 
way back when and it went away when I updated to IOS 10.  It has been fine ever

couldn't figure out why it was saying something odd.

I swipe to or touch a different area of the screen such as the status bar, the 
main part of the screen, or the doc, it says the word “cooking” before saying

not on my iPad.

I had similar behavior several years ago, and then it was magically fixed when 
I upgraded to IOS 10, if I am remembering correctly.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this.  I will be making a call 
to Apple accessibility.

Re: Question about IOS update

I got an email from my insurance ID theft protection company about the
security alerts and urging everyone to update. Yes, it may be a
generic security flaw that always appears, or it could be something
more important. Whatever the case, I figure since I got the email from
my insurance company about the issue, and it appears the same news is
on the national media, there must be something notable about 14.4 and
the flaws it patches. This proves my personal motto that whenever
Apple puts out an update, aside from the major .0 releases that is, it
is a great idea to update since you never know what security issues or
other odds and ins may be fixed.

Hello, 

This sounds like a problem I had when first I updated to IOS 14. Try this and 
see if it helps. 

1. On your home screen, flick to the page indicator item, the one that says "1 
of 5" or whatever suits your situation.

2. Do a two-finger double tap and hold. You hold it while your hear 3 beeps and 
then another sound. This is the "label item" gesture. 

3. Check the edit field that comes up. In my case, it contained the word 
"contact" when it should not have had any value. 

4. If there is something in the edit field, then delete it and key in one space 
into the edit field. Then save it. This fixed my problem. 

5. If that edit field comes up blank, then this is not the problem you are 
having and you can just cancel out of the label item operation.

Hi All,
 
I upgraded to the latest IOS version from IOS 13.7 on my iPad mini.  Now, when 
I swipe to or touch a different area of the screen such as the status bar, the 
main part of the screen, or the doc, it says the word “cooking” before saying 
anything else.  Cooking is the name of a folder I have on my iPhone, but it is 
not on my iPad.
 
I had similar behavior several years ago, and then it was magically fixed when 
I upgraded to IOS 10, if I am remembering correctly.
 
I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this.  I will be making a call 
to Apple accessibility.

Well, Weather bug has so many ads it is difficult to navigate.
I flicked by something about removing ads, but cannot easily find it again.
This one will take lots of patience and since I already have a couple other 
apps that work great for my location, I would not recommend this without paying 
whatever it asks for to remove ads.

Well, Weather bug has so many ads it is difficult to navigate.
I flicked by something about removing ads, but cannot easily find it again.
This one will take lots of patience and since I already have a couple other 
apps that work great for my location, I would not recommend this without paying 
whatever it asks for to remove ads.

What I look for in a weather app is info that is as local as possible.  I live 
in an area where things like temp may vary significantly over short distances, 
especially during the summer.  For example, the daytime temp at my location may 
be as much as 30 degrees higher than that at the coast 20 miles away.  I like 
either Weather underground or Weather Bug because they source their data from 
local sources such as nearby schools or volunteer weather observers.

Thanks for the suggestion, Donna.  However, I am still having the same issue.

Unless I am doing something wrong, “describe images” seems to be associated 
with whatever app your finger is on when you turn the rotor to it.

My issue is not specific to an app, but rather the different areas of the 
screen, e.g. the status bar, the main body of the screen, and the doc.

I upgraded to the latest IOS version from IOS 13.7 on my iPad mini.  Now, when 
I swipe to or touch a different area of the screen such as the status bar, the 
main part of the screen, or the doc, it says the word “cooking” before saying 
anything else.  Cooking is the name of a folder I have on my iPhone, but it is 
not on my iPad.

I had similar behavior several years ago, and then it was magically fixed when 
I upgraded to IOS 10, if I am remembering correctly.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this.  I will be making a call 
to Apple accessibility.

And can tell when rain is going to start and stop, plus it gives weather alerts

I use Weather Office for iOS.
I have been using it for several years with good results.
I can’t remember, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t free, but I can’t remember what 
I paid for it.  Whatever it was, it wasn’t much.

a Reliable Weather App

Can anyone recommend a good weather app?

 

I have one, just clled Weather, and what I’ve noticed about it is, it is not
accurate.

Not exactly. Past vulnerabilities have been reported in the tech media. This 
time for some reason, the main stream media is reporting it, and making a big 
deal out of it.
