Sctach my last question about updating. You answered it! It worked great as far as updating but I haven't test out if it helps with access yet. um there might be a problem with the app specific password. in order to access your email using a client on iCloud, you are required to use your apple ID password. THis is the same method I use for all other email clients (thunderbird, apple mail, eudora, etc.).
