i use both latest versions of weewx and rtgd. with debian distro. i was 
allrady debug=1  but i cant see the log in var/log

[weewx-user] rtgd dont auto update after lost contact from sensor to console

i notice that, every time who i have lost contact the sensor with the 
console, after the connection back again, weewx  (the seasons skin )  
updates data again , but rtgd (the gauge-data.txt )  no. 
only with weewx restarting rtgd works again.

attached
no weewx restarting , in next update circle see the change .
works also in weewx 5.0v
actualy ina me page

[weewx-user] weewx cant generate graphs

im use 5.0.0 version with debian install .
sudenly weewx stop to generate graphs all rest reports ang pages works 
normal
my log.tried allready to erase the images from var/www/html/weewx but weewx 
cant genetate graphs .

[weewx-user] weewx and void linux

tried to run weewx  5.0 in void linux with runit .
with git instalation.
instalation its very easy and fast, but weewx never start .running at the 
end "python3 ~/weewx/src/weewxd.py"  tells me "unknown file system" in 
terminal.

upgrading my three weather stations who running weewx from 4.10,2 to 5.0.0 
all works fine!  thank you!! during the upgrading ,asked me in terminal if 
i want to registred my station , and the link.

Clas Ohlson transmiter works on 868mhz  , Maplin N96FY  works on 433mhz.

i have the same problem. suddenly without reason my weather station in 
kolxiko thessalonikis not appears in map. while the other weather station 
who i have in moudania halkidiki with just same settings same weather 
hardware same linux dist apeears!

[weewx-user] power loss rainRate

in the middle of thunderstone , in near lighting i have power loss in my 
laptop or pc for an hour for example.
after power is coming back weewx restore rain  but no rainRate.

my both os are in greek locale. i rember in past i was registred kolxiko 
weather station in greek. remember in 4.6 verion of weewx. know in 4.9 
cant. its weird that the weewx accept all greek characters , except the 
registration. i will set for now to english title of my stations

after 2 days suddenly windmeter again always zero on steelseries page.
i suspicius that happens only on steelseries ,because in test page with 
$windrun.day.sum  , windrun updating well every 5 minutes , and the  
steelseries odometer remains steel in zero. 
with windrun = software and   record[obs_type] = self[obs_type].sum if self[
obs_type].count else None , in accum.py

my aproach to this .

in my page i was replace in seasons skin in statistics page the "rain year" 
column with "all time records"  . thinking the "rain year" from the "year" 
statistics difrrents only in rain and all rest prices are the same.

firsy need to install the xstats extension of weewx. 

then need to replace the  statistics.inc page . in my case of course all 
the labes are in greek. this easily change

seiing your http://www.sheringhamweathercentre.uk/ss/css/gauges-ss.css  

.gaugeSizeStd { width: 99%; height: 99%; }   you can try width and heiht in 
pixels  for example  .gaugeSizeStd{width:221px;height:221px}  you can play 
with width and height.

well the actuall  /loopdata   localhost/weewx/loopdata  , refreshing every 
60 seconds its ok. but in weather page  refreshing every 5 minutes

i want to use belchertown  skinh 
with mqtt. with simulator mqtt data works fine, but with fineoffsetusb dont 
with same settings.

greek characters on station name. theres no issue with greek characters.

all the greek stations are have english characters. i was cheking this. 
also changing the name of the station in weewx.conf and restarting weewx, 
my weather station dont yet appears on map.

i have my weather station since december 2020 , i had set registration to 
true , after restarting weewx.but until now dont show in map. i wonder if 
the problem is the greek characters  of station name. the rest greek 
stations on map have english names. i had same issue in noaa reports and 
solved that setting from ascii to utf 8 in skin conf. i dont know how to 
solve this and i want to see my station in map.

update:  works only with simulator setting . in my weatherstation with

[weewx-user] trying to connect mqtt

i try in my experemental website to connect and upload data .
using weewx 4.3 and belchertown skin. using the mqtt-weewx extension for 
that my settings in weewx.conf

[[MQTT]]
server_url = 
mqtt://hobbyline...@gmail.com:b9a8b...@mqtt.dioty.co:1883

and the skin.conf 

# MQTT Websockets defaults
mqtt_websockets_enabled = 1
mqtt_websockets_host = "mqtt.dioty.co"

after restarting of weewx dont upload data to mqtt.

secs.with these settings

i have allready read this section. the ask in if theres option to apears in 
seasons skin the ordinates not with degress  by default , with setting in 
skin.conf. reading the docs says the only option for group_direction is 
degree_compass.
tried to set degree_compass=ordinal_compass but weewx stoped after that 
setting.

in current dir ok. i like to apply in all statistics. in day in month etc. 
something like $day.windDir.ordinal_compass works?

 i was tried yesterday that. 60 secs in ss -via gauges.js- and 300 secs in 
[StdArchive]  . after restart weewx all pages including ss was uploated 
every 300 secs.

its possible to set diffrent time upload for example, 1 minutes for ss , 
and 10 minutes to other pages of weewx. 
if i set 60 secs to ss -via gauge.js-  and 300 secs in [StdArchive] all 
pages uploading every 300 secs.

ι was fixed the issue my omn finaly. i write here for future use

ss and season report generate file "index. hlml"  
.setting /var/www/html/weewx in weewx.conf  also in ss and season genarate 
"index.html" file in root and makes the issue.
solved this , with delete index.html from ss direcrory all works property.

[weewx-user] diffrent root to ss gauges.

hi!  tried to change the path of the ss to genarate the html in diffrent 
path than the deafault cant see the other pages. for example

/var/www/html/weewx  for the ss gauges , and /var/www/html/weewx/stat for 
the other pages i see the gauge page but the other pages dont show on stat 
directory after restart weewx.
