[X2go-dev] How do users suspend their sessions?

The rest of the ways are executed from with the X2Go session: If one downloads and installs the KDE or Gnome bindings, it redeploys the lock button to suspend (we elected not to do that as we want to give our users the ability to lock their desktops). We created a separate icon which simply calls /usr/bin/x2gosuspend-session-gnome. Finally, one can invoke the above command from the command line. I only find x2gosuspend-session, not x2gosuspend-session-gnome. Perhaps I need to install the Gnome bindings? I would like to do this using commands, as I might want to implement my own dialog. [X2go-dev] No contents file for amd64?
I was looking for the "x2gosuspend-session-gnome" command, so I installed apt-file and updated it, but then I received an error message: Ignoring source without Contents File: http://apt-mirror/x2go/dists/lenny/Contents-amd64.gz Obviously, apt-mirror is my local mirror. It would appear that it does not require any content between the opening and closing tags. Would I be correct to assume the <-- x2goplugin //--> was intended to be a comment and has a typo, i.e., it should be ? When we change it, the plugin still appears to work but I thought I had better check with those who know more than I do. Hello Roland, I asked some questions, you did not answer them. Maybe you can tell a bit more about your problem. I can remember I did some tests with the screensaver on both the client and in the session, but I did not see any problem. Maybe you mean something else then simply using a screensaver? I am not sure my screensaver is using the X11 screen saver extention. What is exactly this X11 screen saver extention and why do you need it? Are you using full-screen sessions or not, and what is you host-OS? Moreover I can use x2goclient on another computer and it works. Sorry, I don't know. X2go is using the NX libraries from Nomachine. These libraries have a complete (changed) embedded copy of Xorg inside, maybe without the X11 extention. I know you can change some things on it, e.g. with shortcuts: http://www.nomachine.com/ar/view.php?ar_id=AR03C00172 But I think some things are possible with arguments too. Goglobal gives us the possibility to export a file to the client and subsequently start the file. The mime type of the file determines which program is started on the client. There are some problems with the latest openoffice from backports, this command will help: update-desktop-database /usr/share/applications This is not X2go related. [X2go-dev] trouble getting printing to work
I have a lucid client and a lucid server. I followed the guides for Linux and I can access the server from the client using x2go and the session works fine. I cannot seem to get folder sharing or printing to work however. I have cups-x2go and x2goprint installed on the server. I've selected the proper options in the x2go client interface (I shared one directory automounted) and for printing I checked to print to xpdf. I verified that 'xpdf' is installed on the client. I have gone to Administration, Printing and set up the printer Generic-CUPS-X2GO-printer. I'm using ssh port 22 for connections. When I print something from the remote desktop it acts likes everything worked. When I check the /var/log/cups/access_log I can see everything seemed to work. But, no output ever appears anywhere.Also, with the shared folder, no folder is ever mounted anywhere.
