i think its cut from a Stevie Wonder track.
what's the sample behind soulsaver - heard an old soul tune
the other day and it's like soulsaver has pitched the sample
from it up to 45rpm [not the vocal but the 'twangy' noise]

Being the one who called it an instant classic (well, actually that
was said of the first single, Flying High), I'll comment. ;)

Hello,
I wanted to let out of town list members know that we will be meeting at
Recordtime at 8pm this Friday. We are rolling 10 deep so far, and I am
sure that number will grow in the next few days. If you need directions
or more info, please contact me privately.
thanks for the bandwidth,
I think it is on Novamute (at least in France!) - if you're into completely
distorted sounds and stuff by Speedy J, also check out Ni Go Snix EP, the
first time I listened to it I had my eye on the CD player time counter to
check the CD was not skipping...

I am looking for the the title and label of a record that has a chorus that
goes something like this, unlock the door girl, I'm coming home, I'm on the
midnight train. I believe it was on a Detroit label but I can't remember cause
it was stolen.
Anothe record I need is - Laurent X Machines,
I just love that track. In fact the 'text' is an old Dutch counting rhyme
which makes it pretty funny for Dutch speaking people like me.
You are not the only one who bought it. I tend to mix it with electro from
time to time.

I need to get my hands on a decent 909 drum box (with deep hard kick
sounds)and I'm looking at the Quasimidi Sirius/309. Are these any good or
should I go for a Novation DrumStation / Korg ER-1?
PS Don't buy a Roland MC-303 'cos they're shit.

replication of the original, if you know
