Hi Matthew,
RSP is an old project I had with my friend Jean Vanesse (he is working on my
live show now, and sometimes we are recording some tracks together...as Tech
do Brasil on my LP).
We released 4 records under his name.
The first was Funkanoïd, out on Local records , Belgium.

Just wanted to say that I heard some new material from Mr Kenny Larkin,
probably some tracks to become an album and...have to say (even if I'm a big
fan so maybe not the best guy to talk about that...) that what I heard is
amazing ! Some typical Larkin techno tracks but also some incredible
Fyi, this should be a double album.. kenny vs. dark comedy.

It's funny you should say that, I'm working on a project exploring the
plastic sound
characteristic of the Roland TR- boxes in the spirit of old S. Poindexter,
Mike Dunn with raw
and cheesy analogue/ FM sounds.
Try mixing dry 505/626/727/909 together with no effects it sounds quite nice

I don't think the tone arm has been flipped round backwards - I've had a
mate check it out as well but I'll double check.
I did try adjusting the anti-skate (I think I've tried all possible
combinations of weight / height / anti-skate !!)
It's got to the point where it's just too annoying to

is your deck in balance? the feet are the key here. they can be set to

This will probably be to do with the tonearm and cartridge compatibility.
Do a google search for tonearm cartridge Resonance and you'll find a few
links explaining the phenomenon.
Here's one of them I found

Hey all,
Our new DJ sets are up at http://www.dreamlabrecords.com/DreamLabzFM.htm
Stream my minimal techno set directly from here:
http://www.dreamlabrecords.com/DreamLabzFM/dreamlabzfm_03_2003_cyhl_techno.pls
and check out our other sets (db, downtempo, breaks) from the previous
link !
I can think of three possible explanations:
1. the height ring is not locked, which makes the whole assembly a bit wobbly
2. the pins holding the arm in place are a bit loose (tighten v. gently)
3. the socket that the headshell sits in is loose - this is really
annoying and may require a new
whats the story with this then?

Sonic Groove still has copies of:
B Calloway Mr De - 98 Degrees - Local 3000 [L 3000-1]
and
MIA - Beat Mechanic
They are pretty damn nice records, especially the funked up B Calloway Mr
