There was going to be a Carl Craig remix of a track, not sure what happened!
It's a big seller here, the Verve comp. The guys behind it are very clued
up. The Jaffa mix of Black Is The Colour... is rather nice. There is also a
Metro Area remix of something (my copy is under all my drafts, sorry!).

It's obviously done with protools but it's a damn fine mixand the
record's great.

In a way yes, the 7s are meant to be a revival of the old school
concept of releasing both 12 and 7 mixes. I guess, with the cd, the
concept of a 7 mix turned into a radio mix.

yeah these Elevate records are pretty special, not very many total --
and ALL of them are good. They just kind of leaked out
Thomas Brinkmann does dj. He uses dual-tonearm decks and throws in records with
geometrical scratches that he uses to create rhythms.
