Shake is the man
Shake is one of the few djs that really takes chances. His mixes are always
on the verge of shoes in the dryer, but they are always exciting and usually
unexpected and original.
He's always been one of my faves and has been an inspiration to my style.

You really must have a car to get around in Detroit, or know someone
with a car, you may be pretty screwed. And this does cause drunk
driving - in my own case, I'm quite embarrased about driving to the

I find this hard to believe since detroit radio is total crap! I would
imagine that any station would improve with Mojo as music director, but so
far ... nothing. Crap.
Sattelite would be cool too I guess, but that still doesn't help the void
of Detroit radio

My wife and I ended up at the Buzz Bar for Alton Miller Mike Clark,
Szymanski etc...
good times were had by all. Good low key event, and great pizza.

I hope I am, I love Detroit, but I have been to way too many parties with
way too few people,
I have seen Carl Craig play to maybe 40 people tops on a new years eve in
Detroit!
You might be surprised. This is Detroit, after all,
a point, but the orchestra will not be there...
and I certainly do not see the blue hair orchestra crowd going to this.

Hey all 313philes,
My wife and I will be in Spain(Barcelona and Madrid as well as other
parts). If anyone has any idea of good clubs to hit while we are there.
We are into deep house, Broken beat , new soul, jazz. We live in the D,
so we tend to prefer small intimate spaces.
