hi there.
as i was strolling down memories past into the groovetech archives, i was
completely re-amazed by the live scion/tikiman set. does anyone have a set
list for this?
thanks.

i think what i find even MORE interesting is that people are attributing
this quote to nostradamus in 1654. nostradamus died in 1566. i'm sure
there's an urban legend site that could confirm this...

ahhh yes. indeed. wonderful wonderful show, but i thought this had to a
from Detroit only list.
and while i'm at it:
innerzone orchestra / motor
random noise generation / motor
inner city / demf 2001
bill van loo / demf 2000
dykehouse / whenever
recloose / motor
theorem / bob evans on woodward
Detroit Technology was a radio show on 89X in detroit a few years ago. Mixes
were an hour long and aired on saturday nights.
Among the DJs:
Kevin Saunderson
Carl Craig (who also presided as host)
Kenny Larkin
Derrick May
Bill Van Loo
Recloose
Common Factor
Mike Clark
Theo Parrish
Ian Pooley
DJ
last time i heard mr ingram was working at buy-rite records down in detroit,
but i believe he might be working at rick whilhite's store now. he is
working on new material, but as to when that will see the light of day is
beyond me..
rt
as much as i don't want to admit to this, 97.1FM has a show on weekend
evenings called static radio that plays a hell of alot of local music. the
guy who hosts the show should get major respect for even doing that, as
aside from lizzie and the DET clan, no major market commercial stations are
everybody should experience the splendor of a metro area live set once in
their lives.

nope. jay dee is from slum village, part of a production group called the
Ummah which was behind some of the beats for Tribe Called Quest, PhatKat and
a few other artists. he's done a hella lot of work in the past two years
aside from Slum Village, and most everything is beautfiul, sparse hip hop.
there are two books allegedly in progress (as of 6 months ago) on the
history of detroit jazz (which is an insane amount believe it or not) there
was also one printed back a while ago (you can find it at the EMU
library...the author escapes me)i think it's called the detroit jazz
almanactry
i'm really wondering if this is the track he ended his fantastic live set
with?
if i recall correctly he sings something like you're a sexy
mother**..that's what you are to me
anyone? anyone? bueller? twoplayer people?

haven't been really paying attention to this thread until now, but if we are

only a scarce few copies exist and he has all of them on a shelf

Hi All.
I'm on a bit of a mystery tangent here trainspotting wise. A friend of mine
about a year ago played me a track by Nick Holder's called Summer Daze
'99, and then he played me a track that Holder sampled by Pat Metheny. He
received this wisdom from a very wise old sage named Mike Grant.
I AM TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH MARSEL FROM THAT GREAT LABEL DELSIN.
