For all those NYC 313'ers, I'll be spinning a new and classic Detroit set
tomorrow night at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum as part of the
CrossCurrents series. The evening is being hosted by noted product designer
Karim Rashid. The event will take place from 6pm to 9:30pm in the
Speaking of which, does anybody out there know whether or not the *original*
Vangelis version of the Bladerunner soundtrack was ever released on vinyl?
Yea, It's on vinyl. I used to play it on my radio show in Cleveland back in
the early 90's. Can't remember much info about the release though.
Here's a quick recap of the Herbert show last night in NYC. I went to the
second of the two nights he did at the Mercury Lounge. There was a pretty good
sized line of people outside when I got there at 10:30. Both shows apparently
sold out so I was glad I got my tickets online ahead of time. The
Since we seem to be on somewhat of a house vein this morning, does anyone know
what the first track that Roy Davis jr plays on the DEMF 2002 stream? Kinda
sucks that the full set is not up there as I'd like to hear it again.
Appreciate the clue if anyone knows.

'since *I* get bitched at for going off topic, how about we keep the DEMF

Hope this wasn't already posted. This may be some added comfort for any of the
other 157 (I had 4 other friends with me) folks that showed up for the Kevin

this. BTW Richie was there that night and we were talking
So maybe it's the grey day here in NYC but I've been in the mood to listen to a
lot of the Tea Time sessions from Groovetech lately. If any of you guys haven't
checked out Alex Pattersons sets on his show give the archives a listen. I saw
him spin here in NYC at the Knitting Factory a few
'described as classic electro from 1995.'
Actually Fragile08 was released back in '93. It's a two track 12' with Delta
Rain Dream on the front and Trescore on the flip. Don't know if I'd call it
electro, not to start another categorization debate. Trescore is a pretty lush
layered sort of
Even though very little information was posted about Kevin Saunderson and Carl
Craig spinning at the newly revived shelter club in NYC on Friday night some
folks found out about it and showed up. The shelter is the new home of the
legendary Phazon sound system that used to be at Twilo. I had

Thought I'd pass along that Kevin will be in town this Sat night at Centro-Fly

Sorry to have to post this on a monday morning, but I was curious if anyone

I was very impressed by the music and the venue, but I felt the crowd was
almost unattentive..
considering all the turkey that must have been consumed hours before, it's no
wonder that folks were a little lethargic. I thought it was a good turn out,
number wise. Anyone catch the KMS thing
Sorry for the way off topicness of this email, but I'm looking for a source in
Detroit for large rolls of black plastic. I was hoping someone up there would
know where to buy it who may have thrown a party in the past. Send me an email
