guess after midnight and Theo Parrish was playing when i got there
really pounding disco and jack-y raw classic chicago trax and heavy
percussive disco and as usual EQ boosting and killing every track to
within an inch of
nice one matt, sounds just up my street.
ok not 3 chairs but we have one of the legs here in the uk soon.

Interesting. KDJ did a Prince Party at OSLO (Detroit) last weekend. He put
up a translucent screen in front of the booth to obscure his identity. The
set was excellent. Most memorable was the a very long edit of JAN with a
much longer excerpt of the Prince/Mojo interview. Great night.

i saw them the last time they were at smartbar (about a year ago). great
night, great crowd. My only complaint was that Theo was WAAAY to harsh on
the hi-end. i mean, I've seen theo play a million times, and i totally
get what he's doing. But on some systems, it just gets agonizing on the
ears.

backstory: I was in town and happened to check my email earlier that
day @ the public library to find out the three chairs were playing only
four or five hours later downtown. My source of into? The 313 list!

during the pontiac techno house festival, all of the 3 chairs djs were
killing it. then bill beaver got onstage to do vocals.
i have also heard the type of eq'ing and pushing the high end from theo
