Also got Felix Da Housecat's Nina Simone Sinnerman mix
(Verve). It has the original Simone track on it to boot.
I've always loved this song and it makes a great house track
IMHO. Is this

I find that I enjoy his music the most when he keeps
things more minimal and understated--witness
jazz. I find that I enjoy his music the most when he keeps

Subsequently I found a copy of the single and remixes of Shine on Me on

Anyone heard this new alton miller album yet?
I´ve heard some samples.. and I think there are a bit too much
downtempo
tracks on it... but overall I´m left with a good feeling about
this one.
I know Nick Craddock who also played. Apparently it was a good night.
I hear there are a few big nights coming up. Blake Baxter the next, and
then one in June. Not sure whether I can disclose who yet.

I just picked up the Rhythm Exposed LP on Distance a few days ago. If
your looking for more deepness and engaging percussion, you will find it.
It is a fantastic musical work. Excellent melodics as well. Run and get
this LP if you can.

What's Alton Miller been up to production-wise lately? Have I missed
anything since his M3 and Planet E releases. Neither have left my crate for
long. The Moods and Grooves was none too shabby either.
He issued a great recent album on Distance, Rhythm Exposed, and has a

There has been a real backlash to mega parties in Melbourne - people are
going back to clubs. Even Welcome 2001 didn't get the figures they wanted -
9000 instead of 12/15 000. I just don't believe house music - deep house -
works at those kind of parties, maybe that is why Welcome didn't cater for
Here's what it says about Alton Miller... Alton Miller did not attract a
huge crowd at any time during his set of three hours. Was this due to his
name being relatively unknown? In any case, he played a variety of music,
from flowing groovy house to breaks to harder tech-house.

I believe Craig Mullin Alton Miller are playing Geisha this Friday in
Perth for just $7, kids. What a steal!!
Alton Miller was supposed to play in Sydney @ a club called
Stateside, but mysteriously his name was dropped off the advert...
Not sure what happened. I do hope we get to see him in Sydney.
Peace,
Patrick.
