funny thread to catch up to a few days later. taste is such a
subjective thing.
yeah most italo i guess (esp, for me, the stuff beyond 1984) is
crapola and over the top cheese. but the great ones are great. early
stuff very analog drums, overdriven, synthesized, futuristic themes..
crazy
p.s. I ain't some mad italo head, it's just I like bits of italo. just
as
like bits of absolutely everything else.
p.p.s. I have a special pikey version of scotch penguins invasion that
you
will like kenneth.
If it lives up to the title it'll be ace Mr Bond!

The shortcomings are due to the producer, not the format. Just
concentrate on what you love and ignore what you don't. off to lunch.

For real. And has been for years now. But just like everything else,
it's the gems that skate along under the format radar that make any
genre worth the dough though isn't it? I wouldn't waste too much time
worrying about the dodgier acts
i like the hype.
it just depends on where you stand yourself.
it gives me the oportunity to sell one record and buy 20 instead.
don't start bashing the music though because of what you think are
stupid prices.
true, prices for some hyped italo recs have gone up 10x in the last year.
but italo
>insanity. no record ever pressed is worth that much $$$.
of course it is.
IN YOUR OPINION, no record is worth that much.

apparently im not the only one! i absolutely cant believe how much

went for like $750. the really crazy thing is that it had already

by the way, there is no 'better' records. it's just what you like innit,
each to their own and all that. i don't see how yo
