Is there any way to make abcm2ps *not* reset the pagenumbers for every part?
Set them to start at 1, and so they does - in every part, which I think is
pretty useless...

cause the application can do what the
developers would like it, and they ran out of user requests and
bugs. Maybe MusiXTeX is not open to our suggestions anymore, but although
I haven't look much at it, I'm pretty sure you have one healthy, solid,
stabil typesetting environment there

already the case to some degree, it might be worth giving a thought.
That said I know it's not me who's gonna spend my time implementing that
conversion tool, so it's easy for my suggest, but here it is...

Yep, you're right it's just a script. But (if you check my original
posting you'll hopefully see that) I didn't complain about the pdf file,
although the clipping comes through there alse. Sorry I was being vague,
but t

application (abc2lilypond) is included in lilypond. I mean wouldn't
anybody interested in converting ab2 -> lilypond not have a working
lilypond installation? Or are you not saying the need is for a
abc2lilypond converter but a more comprehensive interface/package?
