Keep in mind that TDP Oracle just passes on what Oracle/Rman asks it to.
So for DB estimation, TDP Oracle uses the value that Oracle passes to it
(which probably is overestimated). If compression is turned on then this
value is grossly overestimated.

From:
Eric,
errno 2505 is TDP for Oracle's return code for end-of-file reached.
oer7061 is Oracle/Rman's code for end-of-file reached (we actually send
that to Oracle to let them know we are done restoring).
If you are sure that you are getting a failure - check the Rman restore log
upon this
Michael,
From the prior notes these are my assumptions:
1. You have HP-UX 11 64bit
2. You loaded Oracle 8.0.6 64bit on HP
3. You installed TDP for Oracle 2.2.0
If the above is true you should have the following directories on you
machine:
$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib
$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib64
Michael,
Please Note - the installation guide (on Pg. 7) of the TDP for Oracle
manual for Unix mentions that you should refer to Oracle documentation when
linking files. The make command that you ran is used only when Oracle's
documented method fails (We should have been more clear). This is
