One of the new managers at water company used to work for an outfit that does fiber. All of sudden...that IT company is bidding on SCADA projects. We have done several fiber projects for them at waste water plants which have a ton of EMI and RFI noise so Ethernet cabling had a lot of issues. All

Not that I've found. It's a single drop down box to select the data path, that's the only setting. I set it for Fiber, the Cat5 port still has a physical link, but passes no traffic. I unplugged the Fiber cable, plugged my laptop into the cat5 and rebooted. I got a handfull of pings

I'm getting ready to deploy my first set of 450M radios, from my bench testing, and reading through the manual, do you have to Choose which data path is active, Copper OR Fiber? And the only way to switch it if that path is down is to log into the Radio with an SM connection over the RF?
