Hi, When in Photos, you use the Export Photo to export to jpg, not Save. Using Preview, also works great. Open the image in Preview by using VO-shift-m to bring up the contextual menu for the photo, then Open With, and choose Preview. Once open in Preview, you can export to jpg, pdf etc.
