My Delta44 would be a good card, but in Windows, or Linux, on three different motherboards, and as many video cards, etc... I have always had dropouts in the sound. I can make it happen right now at will by using Alt-tab to switch to Mozilla. I'm actually looking for a new card because of this.

Hey, I remember that the ice1712 has this funny preamp capability, is that the 'IPGA' slider set that I now see on evny24control 'Analog Volume' tab, and if so, I thought that that was aleady what the 'ADC0-3' was, or maybe I'm mistaken. Is there a source of clarifying docs on these controls?

[Alsa-user] Sounds playing a bit too fast!

Hi, After installing Gentoo I find that my Delt44 (ice1712) is playing all sounds about 10-15% too fast. XMMS, aplay, etc, bump up the speed so that music sounds about 1.5 semitones to high/fast. Any idea what I can do to track this down? The card plays fine under Windows boot. Thanks! Tobiah
