On many cards the input amplitude is IGain, not linein. linein just

My first question is what ALSA release are you using? I think the multi-open

Hello,
I want to look at implementing support for the legacy OPL operator in the
CS46xx driver. Does anyone have the datasheet with register specifications
for CS4624 or CS4630? I checked on Crystal's ftppclink ftp site, but they

I did discover that my RH7.1 kernel had an incompatible sound driver
built in. I had never compiled a custom kernel for this machine, so I

Hi alsa users,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I've spent about the last four days
doing nothing but trying to make alsa sound run on my IBM Thinkpad T20.
OSS system worked pretty poorly prior to trying a couple of new sound
editors, after which it didn't work at all. Rather than struggle t

Have you used the optical outs with a true surround sound receiver

The SPDIF input is still very experimental and buggy, the SPDIF output
should work fine, the only thing you
need to do is to tu

Howdy,
I'm having a slight issuew ith the cs46xx drivers.. got everything working
for optical outputs, except that it seems that the forward and rear
channels are reversed. For example, vocals that usually come out of the
front channels are played through the rear speakers. I'm running the CVS
