Hello All, I'm trying to setup my SB Extigy USB soundcard in ALSA so that it can be addressed as a 6-channel device. Has anyone done this, so I might copy their .asoundrc file? I wonder if it even possible to playback through anything other than the first two channels as apparently the card uses

ok, since cvs alsa drivers refuse to compile if 2.6.4 has alsa support, i've just been trying to use the sound regularly. every once in a while the speakers would not work, but headphones would. now the speakers never work, despite what i change in gnome's mixer app. help? what setting
