Nope, that didn't fix the problem. I've upped every single slider in alsamixer to the max. There is some stuff I can't figure out how to change though: Mono Output Select currently set to 'Mic'. Should this be different? How can I change it? External Amplifier Powerdown and SB Live Analog/Digita

Hi all, I have a SB Live Value and have recently changed to Debian from RedHat72. I also run WinMe on the same machine. In WinMe when I have the volume control sliders at maximum the sound is quite loud. In Debian with the sliders at max the sound is barely audible and I have to up the volume on
