It looks as though you have made all the right calculations.
But keep in mind that the purpose of the screen modulation transformer
is to lower the audio voltage going to the modulator and its design
impedance is of little importance. Its turn ratio is of most concern.
And if I
to see a different load Z
depending on modulating frequencies. In turn there would be intermodulation
distortion. And a shift in phase relationships of frequencies that make a
certain wave shape.

Hey Jeff, why don't you build a linear grounded grid out of a pair or
all three 450s?
1. You would have the plate dissipation capability.
2. No high level modulator required.
3. Pi Net output.
4. No need to neutralize on the lower frequency HF bands.
5. Same filament source required as with
if it is a purely linear leakage function at lower voltages? How about
power factor do you check for internal series losses?

Impedance matching is a topic that many new comers don't have a real

(OR NOT some may disagree)
1. Matching source impedance to load will cause the source to
hams..Thats why the FCC has done nothing about it, they have
known about all the RF shootouts for 20 years, believe me it's no secret
I have even seen them at the shootouts walking around looking !!!
