Angel, You will receive the beacon on SSB. You may recall the telemetry used on satellites such as AO-10, AO-13, and AO-40. This is just an enhancement. The only time you will be transmitting to ARISSat-1 is when the transponder is active. It is a linear transponder, so the usual rules apply.

Sure can, I've done it before switching to the twin radios. If you only configure one radio with SatPC32, it uses the SPLIT fuction of the FT8x7 to automatically set both the RX and TX frequencies for doppler on VFOs A B. Remember that a critical factor for operating on the linear birds is

Ron, Yes you can. Look in the ? Hints[Radio] Yaesu Users menu in SatPC. There is a whole writeup on how to do this with one radio. The stock Doppler.sqf file needs to be updated for the newer satellites. FO-29 setting is off by -2000hz for example, other satellites are pretty close.
