Hello to the group:
Have been reading about the satellite and BPSK 1000,but then have a little
doubt on two subjects:
1- The BPSK 1000 part, can be decoded on FM, SSB or a combination of both?
2- In the same line, if one TX to it on U/V, what is the mode to use?

Angel,
You will receive the beacon on SSB. You may recall the telemetry used on
satellites such as AO-10, AO-13, and AO-40. This is just an enhancement.
The only time you will be transmitting to ARISSat-1 is when the transponder
is active. It is a linear transponder, so the usual rules apply.

Hi all
I have a W0LMD sat tracker jr. that I've connected to my PC for automation.
Right now, I'm using Nova to control the rotor and SatPC32 to control the
radio (I would like to use just SatPC32 for both, but I dont see an option

It includes details configuation, screenshot, cables, setup, etc.

Question I have is, is it possible to use SatPC32 to control 1 FT-817 either

Doppler shift corrections? At this time my FT-817 is my only 2m/70cm rig

Sure can, I've done it before switching to the twin radios. If you
only configure one radio with SatPC32, it uses the SPLIT fuction of
the FT8x7 to automatically set both the RX and TX frequencies for
doppler on VFOs A B.
Remember that a critical factor for operating on the linear birds is
Ron,
Yes you can. Look in the ? Hints[Radio] Yaesu Users menu in SatPC. There
is
a whole writeup on how to do this with one radio.
The stock Doppler.sqf file needs to be updated for the newer satellites. FO-29
setting is off by -2000hz for example, other satellites are pretty close.
Very well done
