I have had the same experience as Perry with AO-73 with regards to
signal problems. I have an IC-910 transceiver and a M2 2mcp14 (2
meters) and M2 436CP30 antenna with a Yaesu G-5500. I have the IC-910
set to about 25 watts on UHF. I have made one contact on AO-73. It has
taken me forever
OMG, it is so much fun trying to get the keps, doppler, antenna
pointing all playing together. Seriously! The term "one armed paper

FITSAT-1 was heard over Texas (EL29) at 1344UTC (7/3/2013) Signal
strength was changing considerably and it seemed the time between CW
bursts was changing. Perhaps the signal strength changing simply caused
me to miss part of the transmission. Maybe the satellite is tumbling.
I updated my
FITSAT-1 was still transmitting over Texas (EL29) this morning. I first
heard the signal at 1209UTC (7/3/2013) . Signal was strong and stable.
I am using an IC-910 with M2 436CP30 antenna and Icom AG35 preamp.
Antenna is on a Yaesu Az/El rotator.

internal serial to USB adapter with a serial IC and then use an external USB to

I have been trying to use ARRISAT-1 for the past couple of days.
Despite the fact it was almost directly overhead, I could not get my SSB

get MacDoppler to see the Keps for RADIOSCAF? I have downloaded keps

file. I guess I was getting excited and moving too fast in anticipation
of hearing a signal that I did not fully read the instructions. The
