Heard AO27 a couple of times. Both yesterday and today. Today I heard it
around 18:10 UTC. The telemetry was good and strong. Hopefully they can
get this old girl working again as well. It was a nice FM satellite
after the demise of AO51.

I have my rig turned on all the time to the AO-27/SO-50 downlink and alI
have heard so far is SO-50. Remember that SO-50 shares its pass at times
with AO-27 and can be heard at about the same time.

You probably heard RS-30. It comes in quite well on 70cm. SOmetimes I
find it following close to AO-51 passes.

Same thing happens here in Florida (South East USA) The only passes are
usually low and difficult with omni antennas. As a result we have also
chose not to try and work HO-68 during the lower passes. All of the good

Sounds like one of the output transistors went bad (probably open). This
would give you half power and higher input (IC821 to amp) swr.

The first one allows multiple syncs during the day. The second once a
day. You can Google
the names and probably get newer versions,
I concur. Also, the IC-910 has different connections for 9600 baud. Make
sure they are not trying to use the same 1200 baud connections. I have A
IC-910 and mine works fine for both 1200 or 9600 baud when I select the
correct mode in the menu.

Have you tried going to their site and see if it is available as a
sample? I do that a lot with them if I want to try a new unit or
experiment without buying a large number. I don't think I have actually

Was AO-7 in A or B mode? Usually I hear AO-7 horizon to horizon (except
directly overhead) with a Ringer II vertical. I'm missing something
here. I enjoy working AO-7 now I seem not to be able to hear it.
