How can I plot hourly number of visitors connected to my site ?
What do you mean by visitors? Analog does not count visitors
(http://analog.sourceforge.net/docs/webworks.html). You can see the
number of unique hosts in the General Summary of that's what you want.
Oh Ok,that is
I can't seem to get to the Analog website, is this going to be back up
soon. I wanted to look at some documentation like the codes needed for
formating the reports (ie daily, last seven days etc.)
Hmm, you're right, http://www.analog.cx appears to be down.
But this site is up:
I want to specify a StyleSheet for the output of Analog4.16, but it
doesn´t
work. I have put in the analog.cfg file, the following line:
STYLESHEET estilos.css
Hmm, that should work fine. Check the source code of the outputted stats
page. Does it contains a CSS link? It should look a bit
Is there a way to change the general summary part of the report? i.e I
want some parts of it not to be seen, such as: Unwanted logfile lines
etc.

I know that the Domain Report can do it based on the user's domain
extension (i.e. .nl could be assumed to be a Netherlands user) but is
there a way to even pinpoint it to a region in the U.S. or perhaps a
state?
My advice is to forget it. Take AOL for instance. There is no correlation

didn't know where this file came from, till we saw this one in the how-to

I do a referring site report. That report lists the Yahoos, the hotbots,
etc that have referred hits to my site which is www.analar.com. However,
by
far the largest number of hits listed on the report are from
www.analar.com
itself. My question is where do these hits

When I run my report, the Host Report lists the top
50 hosts by the number of requests. How can I get it
to list the top 100 (or 200)? I've poured through the
readme and searched the FAQ, but I can't find this.
I'm running Analog 5.01 on Windows 2000
A GET form that only returns one argument usually results in a URL like
this:
http://example.com/page.html?name=data
But there is ONE exception. If the name of that single argument is
isindex, then the resulting URL looks like this:

I don't think it should do it habitually, because there are other ways
that
a URL like that can arise. (Not all HTTP URLs with a question mark come
from
an HTML form!)
Maybe not system-wide, meaning for the non-search reports. However when it
