Well, the problem with this approach is that it is not FOOL PROOF. I dont think it's mentioned anywhere in the Docs that the title bar would always contain a texview with this id. So, the best bet I would suggest is go for a theme with no default title, and add a custom view which looks like a tit

I wonder if that's possible. If you can get the button press events, it's fairly easy to do. You cannot of course set the behaviour globally, ie, your code has to be application specific. But I cannot find any actions related to the volume rocker buttons, so I am guessing that you cannot really do
