Re: ARSDOC 1.29 - Array Reference Error

2007-08-01 Thread Thilo Stapff
Not that I know, at least there seems to be no easy way. The problem, as I understand it, is that ARSdoc isn't done with the loaded memory structures until the very end. This problem could probably be alleviated by a redesign of ARSdoc, but apart from that I see no easy workaround.

Re: Import of People data into ITSM 7

2007-08-01 Thread Rick Cook
CTM:People is the main one for ITSM 7. The thing you'll trip over is the conditionally required fields that are new for v7. You can either dig into and learn the workflow in advance, or turn on the Filter logs and see what stops the import process each time a validation Filter gets in the way.

Re: ITSM 7.0 bug.

2007-08-01 Thread Pierson, Shawn
George, There is a similar bug with the OOB Change Approval Process. BMC knows about this and has a workaround, but the result is that one of the OOB approvals gives you a No Matches Found error from an AL. You're probably ok if you don't use the OOB approvals, but if you do, you have to be

It depends on what level of import you require. If you just want to import all People data but don't care about users being set up and such, then you'll only need to import to CTM:People. However, if you want to set up Support Staff, you'll also need the User form, the Support Groups form, and

Srikanth, The good thing about the staging form is that you can push to it from anywhere. Using the flat file or csv the first time will work, but I would build it in such a way that you can leverage it from Oracle, SAP, LDAP, or whatever source of People data you can find to pull it from also.
