week that is listed on the education list as available to the public. It does
have prerequisite required courses, however. Could it be that it is
restricted
due to the prerequisite courses? Just a thought.

Not that I know, at least there seems to be no easy way.
The problem, as I understand it, is that ARSdoc isn't done with the
loaded memory structures until the very end.
This problem could probably be alleviated by a redesign of ARSdoc, but
apart from that I see no easy workaround.
CTM:People is the main one for ITSM 7. The thing you'll trip over is the
conditionally required fields that are new for v7. You can either dig into
and learn the workflow in advance, or turn on the Filter logs and see what
stops the import process each time a validation Filter gets in the way.

There is a similar bug with the OOB Change Approval Process. BMC knows
about this and has a workaround, but the result is that one of the OOB
approvals gives you a No Matches Found error from an AL. You're
probably ok if you don't use the OOB approvals, but if you do, you have

MS SQL 2000 - what makes database tables get fragmented? Is it normal
for this to occur?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as our Remedy SQL database
has hundreds of fragmented table.

If I remember correctly, the permission form is CTM:People Permission
Groups and the support group form is CTM:Support Groups.
I'm in the same boat as Shawn - our AD data is certainly not clean
enough but we'll be developing a solution soon.

The good thing about the staging form is that you can push to it from
anywhere. Using the flat file or csv the first time will work, but I
would build it in such a way that you can leverage it from Oracle, SAP,
LDAP, or whatever source of People data you can find to pull it from
also.
In short adding, modifying, and deleting data causes fragmentation. I
googled it to see what I could come up with. Here is a pretty good

Are you sure the AL is running for the user. You say you went in and
tested it, but your permissions may be different than the user's.
Also... Does the user have permissions to create record in the second
form?

I am trying to install EIE 7.0.1 patch 5 and the installation program
can not authenticate any Remedy user. I also tried removing the
password for Demo.
I disabled all external authentication (it was using LDAP) and restarted
the services.

The cause: Min API Level. It was set to version 7 in the Admin Tool. I
cleared it and restarted the services, then it worked.
I wish BMC would address this issue of installers and the API level.
EIE 7 is a version 7
When you removed the Demo password the system will try to authenicate with the
AD you must have a Demo password.
