My understanding from multiple conversations with BMC folks is that you'll
need to license each AR Server in the group but the User and Application
licenses will be pooled across all servers in the group. I am curious to
hear if that is not the case.

As far as I know, floating licenses are not yet enabled in a Load-balanced
environment. I know that a patch has been discussed, but I don't know if
it's been released yet, or if it's part of v7.1.0.

fields. For instance, we default Priority to Low on the form. Therefore on
the Audit form it is also a default and you cannot change that on the Audit
form.

Side note: MAC addresses are not always unique. We've had several issues with
D-Link NICs using duplicate addresses, especialy with POS terminals. This is
only a problem if they share the same LAN, but it does make them a bad choice
for us for using as a unique ID.

A non-licensed Remedy user can 'Add' an entry into that kind of a
functionality and if Submitters are 'allowed' to modify their own records

Usually most Remedy related reporting problems are due to improper
configuration of the ODBC driver, in the System DSN, after the User tool is
installed on the client PC's.
