My requirement is to capture in a FIELD the time elapsed since an entry was
created in a form.
eg. i have a ticket which arrives at 12:30 pm, this value is getting saved
in 'Arrival Time' field which is a date time field.
Now, if i open the ticket at 12:45 pm, then this FIELD should show valu

for your post as this gave me some important clues as to the issue. I
believe it is related to the same bug you experienced with version 6.3
patch 19 because the symptoms are almost identical.

for that matter) and would want to import character fields with line breaks
inside, that's just not possible with CSV files.

Just to clarify, the actual area to be filled out is only 1 1/3 pages.
The last 2 pages are examples, and 2/3 of the second page is for support
use only. In addition, the bulk of the document is checkboxes, which
are very fast to fill out.

I have filled out one of these, and I didn't see it as being as large a task
as you see. It took me about 10 minutes, which was worth my time for the
return of knowing that my request didn't get misinterpreted by someone along
the chain. YMMV.

I don't really want to start a flame war about BMC Support, but I have a
question about RFEs.
I recently submitted an Issue to BMC to request an enhancement to Change
Management. It's a pretty straight forward request (I asked for the
Work Info to be able to be updated on Closed Change Requests)
The only issue I have seen where no pages are being displayed, not
even the config page, was due to the jakarta (sp?) web plugin. I
uninstalled Mid-Tier, TomCat and the Jakarts ASPI plugin from Add/
Remove programs. I then went into the IIS control panel and manually
removed the entry for the Jak
I have a filter that takes a piece of mail that is sent to the Remedy
mailbox and if it matches certain qualifications, sends the information
to my "transport" form. From this form, I will eventually push the data
to a ticket for updating etc.
My problem is that the text of the email is pushed to

It uses the API. Simple as that. Else, how would a Merge filter fire?
Note that the API allows you to turn off Merge filters on any run but the
Import tool does not offer this option. - Meta-Update does,

licenses are stored in the database, not in the file system. Although
armonitor.conf still contains a pointer to the old location of the license
files, these no longer exist.
