capabilities of failover/redundancy might be causing the server grouping and

Interesting. 7.6.04 client is not completely supported. They have started
phasing out the client with this release. Change Management works for you in
the client, 7.6.04? It's never worked for me. It must just be my environment.

I noticed today when using appadmin or any other user including Demo, I cannot
see the Business Manager and SRM Administrator permissions. I tried to add
them with appadmin and they were missing.

You are certainly correct. If I use Oracle 10g client it is compatible with an
Oracle 11g database, as per the matrix. But that was not the point. My point
is that simply saying that the product is compatible as long as the vendor
(Microsoft, Sun) claim backward compatibility is very presumpt

I believe turning off the sandbox will allow CI's to go directly into the
production data set upon creation. Which out of the box is BMC.Asset.
In my environment, that would be bad, very bad. :-( If I am not mistaken, this
uses an out of the box reconciliation job to execute also.
Spell-check is also built into Firefox. You can verify by right-clicking on a
misspelled word (which will have a red line underneath it) and the drop down
will show the correct spelling suggestions. We recommend using firefox versus
IE with Remedy.

There is a newer version that 2006. I'd recommend getting it from BMC's site

I'd recommend you do not add them to Base Element. Instead create your own
custom Class and add those attributes to that class. Otherwise, your next
upgrade will be a nightmare.

because OOB does not do Printing from the web without a Crystal Reports
server. This is pre 7.6.04 when they robustly built out the mid-tier reports

backout and regression plans that fail. To cover your six here are the methods

Solaris & Oracle - Snapshots on the LDOMs (UFS restore if on non LDOMS) before
any upgrades or patches, Oracle use appropriate db ba
The problem is in the pluginsvr_config.xml file. The upgrade has erased the
XML entry associated with it.
There should be a backup made by the installer. It is in arsystem/BACKUP
BMC recommends you back up this file before upgrading because it is a known
issue it causes.
