try copying the DB across, remove any server references if
found in that DB, then install the production version of the ARS to that new
DB on the new server and then go upwards from there..

Make sure you have checked Use ODBC Underscores in
Tools-Options-Advanced tab.
It may be the cause if its unchecked.
In my case I can see the report perfectly on the server - user tool but on
the clients - user tool some columns are missing.
