Have anybody of you experience in installing Remedy 7.1 Patch 4 on
Oracle 11g and Windows Vista ?
The setup process of the server stops without any error message.
I'm able to start the BMC server service, but i can not connect to the
server by the user tool !

computer to be able to use Remedy User in Windows Vista OS.
About ARServer, in the Compatibility Matrix Windows Vista is not present.

You can not install SQL Server 2005 on a client OS, you can
install the express version which has allot of the functionality but
like mysql has allot of limitations and very limited administrative

Can you check if the testing is including the BMC Remedy encryption 7.0.1
installer. Our internal Vista testing team didn't have much luck with testing
the Encryption installer in Vista.

that is great news, however, I have seen a previous post stating that 7.0
User Tool has some issues with 6.x Asset Management.
Has anyone fully tested User and Admin 7.0 with AR 6.3 and ITSM 6.x ?
In the past there were some issues with Admin 6.x and AR 5.x
