Actually, I don't think it was BS. There seems to be something going on. It's obvious the council wants to stall on it. Think we need to praise the council when they do something we like. If there are motives we don't know about, should we let that hold us back. Sometimes positive

Council should hold off on any more land/building being taken. Kara homes filed today and only a matter of time before more follow or put a stop on projects. They may finish what was started but there will probably be delays in getting new projects started. - Original Message From:

They have been in trouble for at least 2 years. Why? They over paid, bought more difficult properties to work with etc etc. While Hov has a 3 year window on which to close a deal, I don't beleive Kara id that. I beleive they purchased quicker then they should of and the numbers simply didn't

I agree. This is what many of us have been asking for - a moratorium on any more takings. The redevelopers have been successful in throwing up the smoke screen that anyone who questions the process is anti-redevelopment. Unfortunately, way too many people were eager to swallow a simple

Dan - I haven't been following any takings on the parking property. They initially said that if they lost the lot that crossed sixth ave., which they have, they'd be forced out of business. Sources are telling me that they're amazed someone has bought the hotel in light of the lack of parking.
