On the Asbury Park Circle - The former LM Diner was torn down today.
It was last known as the Ritz Diner/Bakery. Once owned by neighbors. A
true classic.
Approved for strip center, but possible a couple free standing
buildings may go there.

In reading about this incident on the APP website, check out how some
people think about AP when posting comments;
Asbury coming back? Won't be anytime soon, sorry, I work with the
future of Asbury Park everyday, dosen't look good.

People will post negative comments and hardly take the time to say anything
about the good. Just human nature. Then again, there is really nothing
positive to say about this. Asbury was the cause of closing down beaches. Not
good press

Here's a couple of more comments from the AP. One of them supports the
guy who says AP is a sewer and the other somehow tries to blame in on
the minorities in our city;
I'm sorry, but this is just too funny, in a couple of different

I am surprise nobody bought and reopened it.
That's because the guys/families that bought it some time ago- really

buildings in the hundreds of millions. They had turned down many, many
offers to sell.

I'll stop posting comments about AP on the APP website connected with
this story. They are growing in number and you can just go read them
yourselves. No pun intended, but this event is gonna cause a shitstorm
of bad PR for our city. Also, maybe the sewage dept. will get their
act together and

No, theres no good spin you can put on this.
I don't think the story is going to effect AP at all. Things happen. The
story will fade. There already has been a sewage stigma about AP for years.
Certain times of the day, it smells. Everyone knows that. Worry about that
problem!
