Hi all,
fixed in 2.1.2 build 11336:
- it was possible that DNSBL has scored two times if a RBLCache entry was
found for an IP
changed:
- If the upgrade of a connection to SSL failes - the retry and recovery
procedure is improved
- ASSP is now able to autoupdate Perl modules via PPM or CPAN
As we are No.4 on Sourceforge Downloads, Sourceforge offered us to
create a professional logo for ASSP for free.
If you have any inputs, which should be the base for the Sourceforge
team to create our new logo, feel free to contribute it here.
My idea would be something as an xRay Scann
Matti, will the new logo have a copyright by SF or could we also use it
inside assp?

This version will not start on my server. Running as a service, it
fails almost immediately upon startup.
Running in console mode, it shows:
setting up global ENV
loading modules...
At this point, an error dialog box pops up that says:
The ordinal 4540 could not be located in the dynamic l
It's also not lost on me that the very first version of ASSP that
could self-update and install Perl modules, is one that would not
start on my server. Had I had auto-update switched on, my server
would now be down. :(

That's why, for me as a rule, I never 'auto' anything other then
download. I review and the put into place manually.

According to the ASSP v2 user interface group names must be made up of
only the characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9, - and _ !.
The description for BlockReportFile, however, states that a group name
must be of the form [user@domain], i.e., includes an @ character. These
two are therefore mutually exclusive,
I inserted the OpenSSL and OpenSSL\bin into the path before Perl\bin.
The error still occurs, however it now reports:
The ordinal 334 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll
(previously it was ordinal 4540)
I might mention that I do not have ASSP configured to utilize SSL.
I am attempting to create groups in ASSP v2 using an LDAP query.
However, the syntax for the host_and_protocol part appears not to allow
commas in passwords (or other entries), as it uses the comma as an entry
separator. How do I create a query that uses a comma in the password?

ASSP 2.1.2 build 11336 has 'broke' Linux support:
error = 'fails to start'
Linux Log shows this:

Sorry , forgot to change the GUI text - @ is also allowed to be used in
group names.
