Re: SoundRTS 1.2 alfa 9 released About the race changes announcements, some players in Starcraft 1 used to select their race just before the end of the game start countdown, in the hope that the others wouldn't notice, I suppose. Maybe the real need was an "I am ready" button. I'm not sure.
