I'm having a hard time locating a speaker that meets my criteria (it may
not even exist!). I am looking for something that can be mounted similar
to the BW LM1s. I love the accuracy of the LM1s, but the low-end
response just isn't there. I'm trying to avoid putting in a separate
sub, but I have

I've played an SB2/3 and our SB+ into both a Benchmark DAC and a TaCT

difference.

I don't know how these specifically compare with your BWs, but I've
always liked the Energy Take Series:

The Take FPS is rated flat down to 60hz (vs. your LM1s, which are rated
flat down to 75hz)...and they are wall-mountable...
I want to thank everyone for the feedback. I think that the problem is
that the specific feed I am listening to (an internet radio station) is
not providing sufficient volume, so I have to have the Squeezebox at
100% volume to prevent the amp from shutting off. I did turn off the

Do you sell these at sonic spirits? If so, I'll give you a call later

Sorry...I don't sell these...I just like 'em... :-) I used to own an
Energy Encore 5.1 system for a small surround set-up I used to have and
felt it was a great value (unfortunately, the Encore series was
discontinued when they expanded the Take line)
But feel free to call me anyways...

I'm *not* saying that. I just don't think it is right to speculate on or
debate phenomena for which there is no substantial proof. That's how

All,
Thanks for the replies - very enlightening - I was surprised to learn
that 'CD quality' was so high at 1440Khz which throws out the theory I
had been developing that my CD player was redundant (even though I had
spent a lot on it - a Cyrus CD8x) and that I should target my funds at
a stand

without wishing to be picky, you should say 1440 (or actually 1411)
kbit/s (which is a bit rate) rather than kHz (which sounds like a
sample rate).

Why shouldn't it be possible to improve on the SB? Do you really

Also, the Benchmark isn't jitter rejecting.
