For an explanation of ABX test, see 'adamslim's post'
(http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=637567) just a few
posts above (#22). Or wikipedia's entry is decent:

Yes. Of course, damping the space with bass treatments will have a
different effect to bass EQ. Each approach will have some effect both
in time and frequency response but not an equivalent effect.

Precisely ( I know you know this). I was just reminding
I use the same type of table you use as a hifi stand in my upstairs
lounge for my no vent gas fire - Probably puts out less heat than those
amps :)

Hello, I'd appreciate some perspective from forum members on what to
look for in new 2 channel amplification. I guess I am getting
bamboozled by some of the descriptive terms used by reviewers
describing the quality of amplifiers and need some perspective.

A router is definitely not required, but there are two requirements:
at least one of the devices has an auto sensing port (common on devices

Of course there are no standards for any of this so one would have to be
devised and then software and hardware written to support it.
It COULD work but would take a lot of effort and would probably need

If you are happy with your preamp, it would be a no brainer for me to go
with one of the wyrd4sound amps, or sell your preamp and get their
integrated. W4S has reviewed very well and is very reasonably priced.
They use the ICE chip. Not sure how they stack up to the higher power
T-amps.
Ok, so ABX, is probably what we will do. Tom is the main person to try
to tell A from B... I'm sure there will be others that will want to
join in for the test.
It should be a fun test, and i expect some very positive results on
favor of the Transpoter.

Well guys, its not taking long for me to think about next steps.
I see here

a pic of the Touch with clothing removed. Anyone know of any
instructions on the net where the undressing procedure is outlined? I
