My SB Touch has "out of memory errors" with these settings. The SB touch
freezes and needs a soft reboot.
No errors since I commented out this line : echo 2147483646 >
/proc/sys/net/core/optmem_max

Here are my thoughts on how to improve the sound of the Touch beyond
TT3.0 and EDO.
They have mainly been well received by people who have tried them, think
the only issues have been where people have had to decode on the Touch
rather than the server.
They were derived mainly from hunches, trial
SBGK, whats wrong with a bit of vetting? If you want this stuff to be
respected it has to endure public scrutiny.
I wont be hateful, hell ill even try it and test it blind, in a very
scientific manner and have some others do it as well.
so cmon...

Beats me, I've always suspected that to be a bit misdirected. Assuming
jitter of this magnitude actually does affect sound quality, I wouldn't
be at all surprised to find USB DACs t

Lacking measurements, I'll settle for anything that corroborates the
claims regarding jitter.

Even without bringing out the 'measure' word, I'd like to know how the
OP KNOWS the mods affect jitter at all? I've tried all these years and
have never been convinced I've actually 'heard' jitter...

By what method have the jitter been measured and how much did it

Just back from a couple of weeks with my new Linn set up, for a
laugh...
SBGK, you asked back then, does Linn Klimax DS play Spotify. Nope. It
portrays it, perfectly, and for that matter all my other music sources
too, thanks for asking.
I really couldn't have friends / family around for supper

well, I am offering them to people who pm me as they were still in
development, that development is now at an end, so I may make them
available via a blog.
It requires about 6 file changes and maybe a bit of experimentation and

Well, so far so good.
The world seems to be divided into 2 types of people, those who have
tried the settings and like them and those who haven't tried them.
Think I will call them diode settings as once you hear them there is no
going back (see what I did there).
