Jason, I dont have a mould of an IS 28 however if an old canopy can be sourced and sent to me I can make you one in around 12 weeks. Cost 2500 + GST. If I had a mould , I would have had one in stock. Glue the old bit back in using cyanoacrilate to make it last to replacement. Its easier and looks

I've now got a couple also, but CDs are cheap to mass produce and a bit of extra postage in the Commonwealth budget is petty cash. I'd rather see a generous distribution with the inevitable overlaps to get max coverage of the stuff. Perhaps the Club can gather up the "surplus" CD's and have a stoc

Haven't received mine yet, but I was looking at my son's (he has a PPL) last night. It doesn't seem to address gliding at all. We specifically looked for gliding references, particularly in reference to carriage of transponders, and only managed to find one footnote referring to the general exempti

I agree. An emphasis in the new NAS arrangements is for IFR pilots to lookout. So I expect many challenges in the next few weeks as they object to that. Preferably IFR pilots should also stay visual when possible, and I appreciate the difficulty of seeing a glider soon enough in an aircraft doin

Ian Price looks good, but how long would you need the old canopy for ? The whole 12 weeks, or can you get it back to us earlier in the process ? We might have to wait until our summer camp concludes in January before we could get by with the glider grounded for that long. At Camden, 12 weeks
