I am interested in the contents of peoples outlanding kits: Space blankets ,
water, food, sunscreen, bug repellant..etc
What do you have in your kit?
I would like to pass the assembled knowledge onto our club members for this
season

the NSW State titles being held at Lake Keepit 12-19th November.
So much so, that we've reached our logistical and

are lobbying for the international specs to be relaxed a tad so that cheaper
technology can be accepted, which will make the 406 MHz units cheaper and
smaller, but it's interesting that with the Feb 2009 date now within the battery
life of most

I was told a trick used by hang glider pilots - take a container of dental
floss.
If you land in a tree getting down can be a problem. Getting a rope up to
you from a ground crew to lower you down from a tall tree can be impossible.

If on a GSM network consider an old CDMA pre paid (about $30 for 120 Hyundia
on ebay) which stupid Telstra say you have say 6 months access but they
never police it and it remains on line indefinetly. Just leave in glider
