More than likely some one has added a new EDT named either x, y, or z.  When you have a declaration like this   Int x, y, z;   Then later add a new EDT of the same name as x, y, or z you will get compile errors on existing classes that have the above declaration, the fix is to find y

Myrl, this is very scary error. Right now i dont have 2.5 installed on my system to check and I am not sure why this problem occured. I would suggest you to restart the system again, i know its a stupid advice but many times when some weird thing happened , in axapta, restarting did work for me. M
