that since the B service logs for both
inbound and outbound that the phases setup in the axis.xml
file is correct.
Can anyone tell me if this is known/expected behavior? or

ran into an issue and a BUILD ERROR.
The issue:
When building the docs the javax.servlet.http package can not be found:

Obviously, this is a problem if you want (or need) to completely rely on
auto-generation.
