Franca Matriz marriage records for 1763-1799* (since there already is an
index of names starting 1800-1900)

1800-1900. My suggestion would be to work backwards from that date (so
starting in 1799 and working backwards). The further back you go, the more
abbreviations are there and the more difficult it is to decipher. You may
