Hello,
I was wondering if there was a fix for bug 807? I am encountering it, as
it's bug posters are, and would post directly to the bugs database, but i
don't think a msg like "I'm seeing this bug's behavior" as well would be
productive. I have nothing new to add and heard there might be a

Is there any way to populate the file list for a restore job using a

If others want to nominate Bacula as well, here's the
I have approval to move my current bacula from
one box to another, new box. The new box I need
to purchase disk for the on-disk backups before
the data reackes tape. I'm thinking about in the
range of 2TB of RAID5.
Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations
for specific devices?

I'd like to find out what kind of hardware configurations people are
using for their director. I plan to be backing up 50 or more clients
with ~250G of data each on a dedicated director with 2G RAM and a
120G SATA drive. I had an issue one night where the director shut

But it doesn't explain how to reinitialize my volumes, considered that
I'm doing backup on a hard-disk (using file backup), not on a tape.
Delete the volume files.

If bacula is running, backing up X number of folders, what are the
implications of adding files to those folders whilst bacula is backing

Will bacula get confused?
Will data get corrupted?
Will it add the new files to the back up if the folder is yet to be
backed up?
Does bacula decide b

Thanks, Rich,
I'm going to test this script and see how it goes. I hope I have enough
diskspace to hold all the dumps during the backup.
Kind regards,
